Hi, I'm Antonia

After three wonderful years at home with my son, I took the leap to build something I'm genuinely passionate about — bringing professional, personalised massage and facial treatments to women across the Doncaster area.

One of the biggest things motherhood taught me is how little time we give ourselves, and how much we truly need it. Robin's Rest was created from exactly that belief — a calm, nurturing experience where you can completely switch off.

I offer mobile treatments on Mondays and Tuesdays, coming directly to your home. On Thursdays I'm based at Luxe Hair, Beauty & Aesthetics in Stainforth — a beautiful treatment room where you can come and be looked after in style.

About Antonia

Hi, I'm Antonia — the founder of Robin's Rest Massage Therapy. After three wonderful years at home with my son, I decided to channel my energy into something I'm genuinely passionate about: helping women slow down, feel properly cared for, and leave feeling truly themselves again.

One of the biggest things motherhood taught me is how little time we allow ourselves — and how much we actually need it. Robin's Rest was born from that belief. My goal is to create a calm, welcoming space where you can completely switch off and be looked after.

I am currently completing my professional qualifications in massage therapy and facials, so every treatment you receive is grounded in proper training, delivered with genuine care, and tailored specifically to you on the day.

I offer women-only massage treatments. This is a deliberate choice to create a safe, comfortable and nurturing space for my clients.

On Mondays and Tuesdays I'm mobile and come to you across the Doncaster area. A small travel fee may apply depending on your location. On Thursdays treatments are held at Luxe Hair, Beauty & Aesthetics, 1 Finkle Street, Stainforth, Doncaster, DN7 5AL. If you're unsure whether your area is covered for mobile, just get in touch and I'll be happy to confirm.

Absolutely — in many cases you can still enjoy a massage if you have conditions such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, or autoimmune conditions like ankylosing spondylitis (AS).

Before your treatment, we'll go through a full consultation and have a chat about how you're feeling on the day. This allows me to adapt the treatment to suit your needs — whether that's adjusting the pressure, focusing on certain areas, or avoiding others altogether.

Massage can help to reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, and support relaxation, which many people find beneficial when managing these conditions.

I often recommend treatments like hot stone massage, as the gentle heat can help to soothe joints and relax tight muscles. If needed, I may also suggest checking with your GP to ensure the treatment is suitable for you.

There's very little preparation needed — that's the beauty of a mobile treatment! Just make sure you have a comfortable, quiet space available. I'll bring everything needed including the massage table, oils and towels. It's best to avoid eating a heavy meal immediately before your appointment.

Payment is taken on the day of your appointment. I accept cash or bank transfer. Full payment details will be confirmed when your booking is finalised.

I understand that plans sometimes change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know as soon as possible by calling or messaging on 07875 687818 — I appreciate as much notice as possible so I can offer the slot to another client. Cancellations made the day before your appointment are charged at 50% of the booking, and cancellations on the same day are charged at 100%.

No — you only need to complete the full health questionnaire before your very first appointment. For future bookings, you simply enter your phone number and your details are already saved. You'll just be asked whether anything has changed with your health since your last visit.

When you book a treatment through our website, we collect:

  • Your home address (so I can travel to you)
  • Emergency contact name and phone number
  • Health information including medical conditions, medications, skin conditions and allergies
  • Treatment preferences and appointment history
  • Your signed consent to treatment

Why we collect it

Your data is used solely for:

  • Confirming and managing your bookings
  • Ensuring treatments are safe and appropriate for you
  • Sending booking confirmation emails
  • Contacting you about your appointment if needed
  • Verifying it's you by emailing a one-time code when you return to book again

Health information is classified as special category data under UK GDPR. We collect it on the basis of your explicit consent, given when you complete and sign the health questionnaire before your first appointment.

How your data is stored

Your data is stored securely in Supabase, a GDPR-compliant cloud database hosted within the European Union. Data is always transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Only Antonia Messham has access to your personal and health data through the secure admin dashboard. We do not sell, share or transfer your data to any third parties, except Resend (an EU-based email service) used to send booking confirmations.

How long we keep it

We retain booking and health records for up to 7 years, in line with standard practice for health treatment records. To request earlier deletion, please contact us directly.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent to treatment at any time. To exercise any of these rights please contact Antonia on 07875 687818 or hello@robinsrestmassage.co.uk.
